“Ghosting”

When someone “ghosts” you, they obviously no longer wish to communicate. But it’s impossible NOT to communicate. By ghosting you, they convey that while they may have liked you in some respects, they also disliked you, and repressed that dislike. The repression festered and they finally had to slam the door shut.

It’s startling and hurtful when you’re ghosted. But it’s also revealing. The person you thought liked or loved you never really did–or did, until he didn’t. It’s best to absorb the hurt and move on. You don’t need someone in your life who doesn’t want you. And if you respect yourself, you’ll know they lost something good, and didn’t deserve it.
