People demanded to know the reasoning behind the FBI’s clearly illegal and unprecedented raid of the political opposition’s home, no different from in a banana republic.

The FBI and DOJ responded with a cynical joke: An almost entirely redacted document.

The mobsters some of us still call a “department of justice” know what they’re doing. They are mocking us. They are making it clear that THEY know THEY are the criminals, and there’s nothing WE can do about it. Because THEY hold the power.

Of course, Hitler and tyrants like him once held the power too. These latest enemies of freedom are playing with fire.

The ONLY thing that makes a government legitimate is its willingness to support individual rights.

Once that support goes, the legitimacy of that government goes with it.

Ask yourself how legitimate today’s gang of mobsters, Communists and fascists who have taken over the White House, Congress and the once great American military really are. Be honest now.

Thomas Paine said it best:

“A body of men holding themselves accountable to nobody ought not to be trusted by anybody.”

That’s putting it mildly.
