Leftists claim that without government control, AI will kill billions. We’re supposed to believe that Bill Gates, a sociopath who openly seeks to use his wealth to diminish the human population, really has our best interests at heart when he calls for a government takeover of AI. AI is deadly because of hackers, they claim. So by limiting the ability of non-criminals to use AI, we’re supposed to believe that criminals won’t get around the laws. Even though that’s what criminals do. Just like gun control.

People who would never seek to harm others using AI will be kept from using it. Lawbreakers who intend to harm others while using AI will continue to use it. Socialists and Communists just want government in charge of the flow of information. Government (especially when influenced by destructive villains like Bill Gates) is a much greater threat to life than technology ever could be.

A quote from Cicero comes to mind, as America flirts with dictatorship like never before:
