Buoyed by polls showing Democrats are favored to win control over Congress in this year’s elections, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton asserted “it’s time that every member of the MAGA movement be held responsible for their role in enabling Trump to tyrannize this country. Investigating and impeaching Trump is, of course, a key goal. However, we must tear out this fascist cancer on our democracy by the grassroots.”
Clinton acknowledged “being inspired by Sen. Slotkin’s (D-Mich) suggestion that we must go beyond the high profile MAGA criminals in Trump’s cabinet in our battle to transform this nation and deter young people who might seek entry-level positions in the Trump Administration. We must also punish the millions who have voted for Trump and other Republicans. The deplorables who derailed sensible governance by voting against me in 2016 and Kamala in 2024 must answer for their crimes.”
The unsuccessful Democrat nominee in the 2016 presidential election admitted “obviously, we can’t imprison all of the 77 million voters who reelected Trump to his current term. The vast majority of them will have to be free to work and pay the taxes needed to redistribute income from the able to the needy. But we don’t have to let these people post misinformation on the web, insult Democrat officeholders, complain about restrictions on their movements, or own guns. New laws will be written criminalizing these behaviors. The minority who most obviously flout these laws can be put behind bars–not in the cushy prisons with recreation facilities, cable TV, palatable food, and visitor privileges we use for ordinary criminals, but in gulag type facilities without air conditioning or heat, rancid food, and numerous rats like they had in the Soviet Union. And a new progressive majority in the Supreme Court will affirm these laws and changes as constitutional.”
Slotkin thanked Mrs. Clinton for “her favorable mention of me and my ideas. Her suggestions for taking them further are brilliant augmentations for the kind of a scorched-earth approach we need to take this country back from the fascists. I hope I can count on her support in the 2028 race for president.”
