How to Fight Retirement Disappointment
One of my faithful readers here at the Delaware Wave writes that he and his wife recently retired here at the beach. But in spite of that, he’s not happy. It doesn’t have to do with anything specific; things are fine with his wife and his nice home. They are making new friends and exploring the area, but he can’t get rid of his general anxiety and sadness. He restates that he and his wife looked forward to retiring from their successful careers, but now that it’s a reality he’s having trouble making himself feel happy, though he is well aware that he should be happy at this point in his life.
Dear Reader, it sounds like you don’t know what’s causing your anxiety and sadness. You might need a professional to help coax this out of your subconscious mind, but perhaps I can get things started. The first step is to identify your exact emotions. Emotions are nothing more than thoughts that pop up automatically in response to your values and beliefs. So ask yourself, “What would my emotions say, if they could talk?”
I’m only guessing here, but those emotions might suggest that you’re feeling a lack of purpose. You described your career back home as busy and successful; could it be that you’re simply missing a specific set of reasons for getting up in the morning? This happens quite a bit when people retire early. If you think about it, who says we’re supposed to retire? It’s a concept that we take as self-evident, but if you stand back and look at it, it’s nothing more than an arbitrary number contrived by the government. But it’s at odds with the basic human need for a sense of fulfillment to make it through the day. Faulty retirement thinking is based on the premise that the ideal is to do nothing. But when one finds that he or she is in fact doing nothing, a person can often end up feeling exactly as you describe.
If you disliked your job or career, retirement can be a pleasant experience. A similar situation exists if you liked your job, but just had enough of it. It’s perfectly fine to move on – but to what? Taking the sole step of getting away from something still doesn’t tell you what your new purpose will be. No longer having one purpose is not the same as identifying what your new purpose can or should be. Just surviving comfortably is not enough. Whether it’s a job, a career, a cause or a hobby, you obviously need more than just the nice house and nice friends. In a sense, they’re just the side dishes, not the main course. What’s the main course? It sounds to me like you haven’t decided that yet. So your anxious and sad emotions are telling you, “Hey, get on with it.”
Again, all I have to go on is your email, so this is only a guess, but it’s an educated guess. I can’t overstate how often I see this happening to retired people. Sometimes they don’t fully think out their plans. For years they’ve assumed that once they retire and move to the beach that life will be bliss. But when that time arrives, that cherished belief ultimately clashes with the reality of simply having nothing constructive to do. The next step is anxiety, sadness or even depression. I see it every day.
Find something you enjoy – maybe something you’ve never done before, and pursue it. It can be anything from volunteering at a hospital to starting an Internet business. Whatever you do, your sadness is entirely fixable. I suggest finding a skilled cognitive therapist who can help align your OLD beliefs with your NEW circumstances. That will be the first step toward being as happy as you were before you retired.

Cease-Fire Talks in Doubt after Netanyahu’s Fiery Speech
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to the United States comes as negotiations to end the Israel-Hamas war and recover hostages held in Gaza inch forward — with no immediate deal in sight.
Egypt, Qatar and the United States continue to push Israel and Hamas toward a phased cease-fire agreement that would stop the fighting and free the hostages. The negotiations have repeatedly hit obstacles over disputes about the governance of post-war Gaza and how enduring the cease-fire will be.
Netanyahu’s vowing “total victory” in Gaza to thunderous congressional applause Wednesday risks inflaming tensions with Hamas at a time when talks are delicate. But he also came under increased U.S. pressure to engage sincerely in cease-fire efforts. Critics say Netanyahu is stalling during negotiations so that he can draw out the war for his own political gain.
A team of Israeli negotiators that was meant to travel to Qatar for another round of talks was held back Thursday and may be dispatched next week.
Here’s a look at how Netanyahu’s visit might impact the talks:
During the trip, Netanyahu seemed to avoid public mention of cease-fire talks, angering hostage families in Israel who felt their plight was ignored. Domestic pressure runs high for a deal that would bring home the remaining 110 hostages, but Netanyahu also faces opposition from his far-right governing partners to any agreement to end the war.
His speech to Congress Wednesday made scant mention of the hostages. His office said reaching a deal was but one of several items on his wish list to discuss with American officials.
Still, the visit opened Netanyahu up to face-to-face pressure from Israel’s top ally, on whom it counts for critical military and domestic support.
Both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris said that in their meetings with Netanyahu in Washington on Thursday, they would prioritize closing gaps on a hostage deal.
In some of her most forceful comments, Harris said she told Netanyahu “it is time” to end the war and bring back the hostages.
But with Netanyahu keeping an eye on his coalition partners – the key to his political survival – the trip could also be part of a broader delaying tactic to avoid reaching a deal.
“While his coalition is wobbling because of the tension with the extreme-right parties, Netanyahu is deliberately delaying the negotiations for the release of the hostages,” wrote columnist Amos Harel in the liberal Israeli daily, Haaretz, adding that Netanyahu had “engineered” a long trip.
The rapidly changing political developments in the U.S., Harel said, might distract leaders there from pressing the cease-fire talks urgently.
Netanyahu’s visit and his fiery speech to Congress stoked tensions with Hamas at a time when the militant group’s negotiators are at the table.
Hamas reacted angrily to Netanyahu’s presence in the U.S., calling his vows to return the hostages insincere.
“He is the one who thwarted all efforts aimed at ending the war and concluding a deal to release the prisoners,” it said in a statement after the speech. It called Netanyahu’s talk of intensified efforts to free the hostages a “complete lie” to mislead public opinion.
Hamas spokesman Jihad Taha said Thursday the group didn’t believe the visit — during which Netanyahu received a standing ovation from Congress — would prompt enough pressure on him to impact the Israeli negotiating position.
“If the American administration is serious, it should put pressure on the prime minister of the Zionist government Benjamin Netanyahu to stop this aggression,” he said.
But Hamas stopped short of pulling out of talks over the visit, a sign the talks may resume.
Netanyahu’s U.S. trip came as the talks already faced challenges.
The cease-fire plan calls for an initial six-week phase in which Hamas would release some hostages — including women, older adults and wounded people — in exchange for an Israeli withdrawal from populated areas. Palestinian civilians would be able to return to their homes and humanitarian aid would be ramped up.
The two sides are supposed to use that six-week period to negotiate an agreement on the second phase, which would include the release of all remaining living hostages, including male soldiers, and Israel’s full withdrawal from Gaza along with an enduring halt to the war.
But the two sides appear far apart on that second phase.
Israeli leaders have suggested they aim for a one-phase deal freeing some hostages, after which they would resume their campaign to destroy Hamas and keep troops in parts of the territory long term.
Netanyahu has spoken of striking a “partial” deal. A day before coming to the U.S., he told troops in Gaza’s southernmost city Rafah that Israel demanded “a maximum number of hostages” be released in the first phase. On Tuesday, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Israel seeks a deal for the release of “dozens of hostages. And after this issue has passed, we will know how to return to fighting.”
That’s a scenario Hamas has rejected. It dropped a demand that Israel commit up front to a complete end to the war, but it has sought guarantees from mediators for that goal.
Mediators appear to be trying to sort out as much of the second phase as possible now, including a post-war rule for Gaza without Hamas.
“There are details to be worked through,” said U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan while speaking in Aspen, Colorado last week. Sullivan said those issues include what is to be Israel’s remaining military presence in Gaza, humanitarian assistance and a day-after plan for governing Gaza.
Netanyahu’s office did not say when the Israeli negotiating team would be dispatched once more for talks. At Congress, he said Israel was “actively engaged in intensive efforts” to secure the release of the hostages and was “confident these efforts could succeed.” But he also pledged “total victory” in the war with Hamas.
Taha said Hamas is waiting on an official Israeli response to amendments proposed by Hamas.

Selective Incompetence in the DEI Secret Service
“On July 13, we failed,” said the DEI appointee for head of the Secret Service.
No, you didn’t fail. You succeeded. We know that you know you succeeded. If you really believed you failed, you’d willingly resign.
Biden is safe. Kamala Harris is safe. Members of their regime are safe. They always were. The Clintons, Obamas and George W. Bush have nothing to worry about. Only Donald Trump has to worry about his safety. He’s the only one it will take you an hour or two to warn, when you’re aware that an armed sniper is pointing a gun at his head.
You know that, and it’s exactly how you and your superiors want it. This Congressional “grilling” is a charade. DEI appointments never assume accountability for anything.

The Values That Made Western Society Great Came From the Bible
Right now there is a tremendous amount of debate about what values our society should embrace. There are some that are promoting the benefits of “conservative values”, there are some that are promoting the benefits of “liberal values”, and there are others that are promoting the benefits of other types of values. But if we really want to make western society great again, the truth is that we should return to the values that made western society great in the first place. Those values are the reason why western nations were the most prosperous and most civilized nations on the entire planet for centuries. And once other nations started adopting those same values, they became more prosperous and more civilized too.
The values that I am talking about are the values that we find in the Bible. All throughout history, civilizations that have chosen to do things God’s way have been blessed. And civilizations that have chosen not to do things God’s way have been cursed.
Just consider the United States. It was founded by people that loved the Bible, and throughout our history it was primarily made up of people that loved the Bible. Of course that has changed in our day, and as a result our society is now a giant mess. But at one time we were the most blessed nation on the entire planet by a wide margin, and that didn’t happen by accident.
Centuries of experience have taught us that capitalist countries tend to be more prosperous than countries that practice various forms of collectivism.
Primitive communism is a way of describing the gift economies of hunter-gatherers throughout history, where resources and property hunted or gathered are shared with all members of a group in accordance with individual needs. In political sociology and anthropology, it is also a concept (often credited to Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels), that describes hunter-gatherer societies as traditionally being based on egalitarian social relations and common ownership.[1] A primary inspiration for both Marx and Engels were Lewis H. Morgan‘s descriptions of “communism in living” as practised by the Haudenosaunee of North America.[2] In Marx’s model of socioeconomic structures, societies with primitive communism had no hierarchical social class structures or capital accumulation.[3]
Needless to say, even those that do not believe in the Bible benefit when they embrace the same economic values.
Just look at what has happened to China. In the years following the communist revolution, millions died from starvation. But once the Chinese moved in a more capitalist direction and started promoting private ownership, private enterprise, individual responsibility and hard work, China became a global economic powerhouse.
The Bible also places a very high value on family. In the Ten Commandments we are told to honor our fathers and our mothers, and throughout the rest of the Torah we are given very specific instructions about how families are to operate.
Today, much of the population has rejected the Bible and the traditional family unit is relentlessly mocked.
As a result, divorce rates have soared, birth rates have fallen to historic lows, suicide rates are at all-time record highs, alcohol and drug abuse is out of control, sex outside of marriage is rampant, and the streets of our major cities are filled with violence.
Study after study has shown that kids that come from broken homes are far more likely to commit violent crimes, they are far more likely to get involved with drugs, and they are far more likely to end up impoverished. And societies that do not value the traditional family unit also tend not to value the lives of those that are the most vulnerable…
In ancient Greece and Rome, individual human life had no particular value in and of itself. The Spartans left weak children to die on the hillside. Infanticide was common, as it is common even today in many parts of the world. Fathers who wanted sons had few qualms about drowning their newborn daughters. Human beings were routinely bludgeoned to death or mauled by wild animals in the Roman gladiatorial arena. Many of the great classical thinkers saw nothing wrong with these practices. Christianity, on the other hand, contributed to their demise by fostering moral outrage at the mistreatment of innocent human life.
In ancient times, child sacrifice was one of the most common ways to get rid of unwanted children. When it was time to make a sacrifice to “the gods”, children that were not wanted were brought and put on the altar.
The same thing is essentially happening today, but we give it a different name. We call it “abortion”, and it is done behind closed doors in pristine clinical settings.
Since 1973, more than 1.5 billion children have been slaughtered worldwide. So what makes us any better than any of the ancient civilizations that regularly sacrificed their unwanted children?
The Bible very strongly denounces child sacrifice, and it also very strongly denounces the various forms of sexual immorality that are exploding in our society today.
For decades, the left has been pushing us to accept one form of sexual perversion after another. As societal sentiment has shifted, the right has eventually gone along with most of the changes that have been happening.
But God has not changed. He sees everything that is going on, and He has warned us over and over again to change course. If we choose to keep going down this path, we will be cursed and the consequences will be extremely bitter.

Into the Twilight of Civilization With Kamala
It’s amazing to watch the news headlines, and then to watch how people ALLOW those headlines to control them.
For 3.5 years, it was “President Biden” this and “President Biden” that. All but a few of us took him seriously. Then, one day, all of a sudden, the media didn’t like “President Biden” any longer. All of a sudden they started to comment on — and shape headlines around the fact — that he was a demented goofball incapable of completing a sentence, in most cases. The media was done with him.
President Trump, not surprisingly, soared in the polls — even polls rigged by the news media itself.
Now, all of a sudden, “President Biden” is OUT and Kamala Harris is “IN.” All of a sudden, almost overnight, she’s beating Trump in the polls (we’re told). And just now, I saw a headline reading, “Donald Trump having problems with his memory.” Based on what? It doesn’t matter. It’s in the media headlines — so it must be true.
I’m not sure which is worse: a manipulative, fraudulent (and low-IQ) bunch of propagandists masquerading as journalists — or a mass portion of the population ready to believe them.
If that mass portion of the population is in the majority, even the fraud won’t matter. We’re toast. And it’s “President Kamala Harris” to escort America into its final twilight.

Why is it Offensive to Call Kamala Harris a DEI Hire ?
Democrats are offended that Republicans are pointing out Vice President Kamala Harris was a diversity hire. What do they have against diversity, equity, and inclusion? Shouldn’t they be celebrating those concepts? It was the left, after all, that conceived and implemented DEI programs around the country.
“Kamala Harris faces racial ‘DEI’ attacks amid campaign for the 2024 presidency,” explains ABC News. “Incredibly insulting,” says Susan Rice. “Right-wing media figures call Kamala Harris a ‘DEI’ candidate as race-based attacks ramp up,” writes the perpetually confused Oliver Darcy. “Is it 1951?” asked “Morning Joe.”
Sort of, yes. In 1951, many white Americans still judged their fellow citizens by immutable characteristics like the color of their skin. Today, a new group of Americans are doing the same thing, including journalists who stopped using “black” as a descriptor of a color and then started capitalizing the word to strongly suggest that skin color defines a person. Scarborough should ask his good buddy Al Sharpton, a big-time defender of DEI, how all of it works.
Let’s face it, the only reason mentioning DEI is considered a “racial attack” by the left is because DEI is a racist policy. The anger over the Kamala accusation is a tacit admission that race- and sex-based hiring practices degrade a person’s accomplishments and career. If that is true of the vice president, it is surely true of the millions of minority women and men toiling to make it out in the real world.
Democrats are going to spin this by arguing that it is factually incorrect to contend that Harris was picked because of her gender and color. “The argument coming from Republicans is Harris — who had served 13 years as DA + AG before 3.5 years in the Senate — was a DEI hire for Biden, while JD Vance — who wrote a bestseller, worked in venture capital briefly & has been in the Senate 18 months was picked because of his résumé,” argued CNN Senior Reporter Edward-Isaac Dovere.
No, that’s not the argument. The argument is that Biden decided to, or was pressured into, picking a black woman by Democrats in 2020. He promised to do it. He bragged about doing it. All Dovere had to do was search his own website to find the evidence.
“Joe Biden Says He Is Considering Four Black Women To Be His Running Mate,” a 2020 CNN headline explained — not four of the “most qualified” people. “Joe Biden Pressed Again To Name A Black Woman As His Running Mate,” read a headline in The Washington Post. “Pressure Grows On Joe Biden To Pick A Black Woman As His Running Mate,” said an NPR headline, right under the words “America Reckons With Racial Injustice” — written a little more than three years after Barack Obama finished his eight-year tenure as the most powerful man in the world.
It was clear that Kamala Harris wasn’t the meritocratic choice, not even among the other 2020 Democrat Party presidential contenders. Her campaign didn’t even make it to Iowa. Her senate career was undistinguished. Her polling was atrocious. She was unable to run a campaign or keep her staff.
Of course, I’m not naïve. Harris isn’t the first candidate who’s been picked, fully or in part, because of her background, personal appeal, and physical characteristics. Vance is Trump’s veep pick because he allegedly strongly appeals to the forgotten Rust Belt “working man,” not because he’s the most accomplished person in America. One suspects he would admit as much.
Now, none of this means that many African Americans and Hispanic kids don’t often have to overcome failing schools, poverty, and other obstacles — just as other groups have in the past. (Harris is not one of these people, by the way.) This puts them at a serious disadvantage. So, let’s fix (or better yet, dismantle) the public school system and welfare state that break apart families and undermine opportunity — and stop punishing other Americans who have earned their opportunities.
Should GOP attack Harris over her hiring a good campaign attack. No. But, in the end, if you don’t want your preferred candidate being called a DEI hire, stop bean-counting people by their color and sex.
David Harsanyi, The Federalist
Kamala Didn’t Even Earn the Status of a Fake President
Criminals use and then turn on each other.
Biden got what he deserved. So will the next puppet.
None of them possess values, virtue or principles.
They are all truly scum, with no redeeming merits at all: A pack of rabid parasites devouring each other — poised to devour us all, and our great country.
Kamala didn’t earn it. She didn’t have to struggle through primaries, like Trump did twice and like even Obama did, in 2008. She’s just annointed. She’s a DEI candidate. Like Biden, her newfound status has nothing whatsoever to do with any sort of achievement, even as a socialist hack. She’s there to be NOT Trump. And NOT white. And to be a woman (even though her platform includes the claim there is no such thing as gender.)
Insanity and irrationality are not, ultimately, practical. But especially since 2020, irrationality has made tremendous headway in America. How long can it last, and how far will it go? What will hitting bottom look like, if it ever comes? There seems no end to the institutionalized lunacy.
If China and/or Russia don’t make their military moves on America under President Kamala, they never will.
as Kathy Kelly Carter wrote on Facebook:
“Will ANY Democrat replaceing Biden change policies?????
Will they switch to policies that stimulate business & jobs growth?
Will they restart the energy engine that drives national security, energy security, cost of goods, food, services???
Will they re-secure our border and stop the flow of illegals, crime, human trafficking and cartels, fentanyl????
Will they change their policies of weak appeasement to foreign countries???
Will they stop making us the world’s piggy bank???
Will they stop the insane policies of defunding police and stop the policies of rogue DAs NOT prosecuting criminals???
Will they stop giving illegals free housing, medical, food…while denying our citizens and communities and veterans resources???
A DIFFERENT DEMOCRAT IS NOT GOING TO CHANGE A THING FOR YOU, YOUR FAMILY,YOUR COMMUNITY.”
I guess all the RINOs, libertarians and “Objectivists” who voted for Biden will now vote for Kamala!

If You Want to Destroy the Black Community, Vote Democratic
If I wanted to destroy the black community, I would become a democrat.
I would feminize black men. I would promote transgenderism & sterilization.
I would sponsor crime bills – knowing they would disproportionately impact the black community — to take black fathers away from their children.
I would put abortion clinics in the black community & follow in the footsteps of Margaret Sanger.
I would push for complete government dependency & make everyone a slave to the system.
I would raise taxes to turn black homeowners into renters.
I would not clean the streets. I would allow crime to get out of control to push businesses and grocery stores out of black neighborhoods.
I would allow for open borders. I would let illegal aliens flood the country and procreate, while the black community aborts their babies.
I would allow the flow of drugs into the country. I would give out needles, push for drug use, & then punish such abuse.
I would lock up black men for committing crimes, but reward illegal aliens with freedom.
I would use race as a weapon to divide & keep the black community down.
I would disarm the black community and confiscate their ability to protect themselves.
When you see it — and when you realize what the government has done and is doing to the black community — there’s no going back.
If I wanted to destroy the black community, I would vote democrat.
Top Thirty Reasons Kamala Harris Would Make a Terrible President
Kamala Harris’ political history proves that putting her in power is a bad move that hurts Americans..
The powers that be decided this week that despite her disastrous approval numbers and long history of unpopularity among Democrat voters, Vice President Kamala Harris will take President Joe Biden’s place as the blue party’s presumptive 2024 candidate.
Here are 30 reasons why Harris, whether through Biden’s resignation or the upcoming election, would make a terrible president.
1. She Covered Up Biden’s Cognitive Decline..
Harris had a front-row seat to President Joe Biden’s mental and physical deterioration but never said a word. In fact, she routinely issued statements indicating Biden was fit enough to stay president.
2. She’s Sympathetic to Pro-Hamas Demonstrators..
Harris believes the pro-terrorist activists taking over college campuses, occupying highways, and defacing military cemeteries are merely “showing exactly what the human emotion should be.”
3. She Refuses to Oppose Abortion Until Birth..
Harris famously refused to say which abortion limits she supports in a September 2023 sitdown with CBS’s Margaret Brennan.
4. She Shirked Her Duties as Border Czar..
Biden named Harris as border czar in 2021, but it took her months to visit ground zero of the record-breaking invasion her administration incentivized. The Border Patrol chiefs responsible for securing the border also confirmed that Harris never spoke with them.
5. She Also Put Other Countries’ Borders Before Her Own..
Harris traveled thousands of miles away from the U.S. border invasion she was tasked with handling to deliver “peace and security” to the borders of Ukraine, which “is a country.”
6. She Knowingly Spread the Border Patrol Whipping Lie..
Harris claimed she saw “horrible” footage of Border Patrol agents whipping illegal border crossers, but a U.S. Customs and Border Protection investigation found no evidence that the horseback unit used their reins to strike migrants.
7. She’s Wildly Unpopular..
One of Harris’ most notable accomplishments is receiving the worst vice presidential rating in the history of modern polling. Her abysmal job approval ratings have only continued, often ranking worse than Biden’s, and do not suggest that she’s up to the task of taking over the presidency.
8. And Disliked by Her Staff..
A whopping 92 percent of Harris’ staff left in her first three years as vice president.
9. She’s out of Touch..
While arguing against voter ID laws, Harris claimed that it’s “almost impossible” for rural Americans to make a photocopy.
10. She’s a Bad Speaker..
Harris has tried to come off as inspirational, but her speeches and public addresses are often riddled with jumbled, off-script chattering or unintelligible babble that rivals Biden’s incoherence.
11. She Praised the Persecution of Lifesaving Pregnancy Centers..
Harris used the presidential podium to cheer on Democrats for “taking on rightly the crisis pregnancy centers.”
12. She Supported Bailing Out 2020 Rioters.
Accused rapists, repeat offenders, and rioters alike benefitted in June 2020 when Harris encouraged her social media followers to donate to a bail fund dedicated to those arrested for their months-long, $2 billion siege of cities like Minneapolis. The vice president later lied about her involvement in the money-raising scheme.
13. She Dodges Questions About Defunding the Police..
During the peak of Black Lives Matter calls to defund the police in 2020, Harris refused to say whether she supported defunding law enforcement. Instead, she championed meeting the “dire need for mental health resources.”
14. She May Have Plagiarized Her Go-To Childhood Story..
Harris loves to tell a story about asking for “fweedom” from her stroller at a civil rights march. That supposed childhood memory, however, suspiciously resembles one Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. told Playboy in 1965.
15. She Supports Race-Based Wealth Redistribution..
During her short-lived presidential campaign in 2020, Harris debuted plans for a $100 billion home-ownership subsidy for black families she claims should be repaid for “generations of discrimination.”
16. She’s a Gun Grabber..
Harris threatened during the 2020 Democrat primary debate to take “executive action” on guns if Congress did not meet her demands by passing “the most comprehensive background check policy we’ve had.” After taking office, Harris claimed no one is “trying to come after your guns” as the Biden administration and Democrats prepared to do just that.
17. She Wants to Raise Taxes..
During the 2020 vice presidential debate, Harris proudly promised the Biden-Harris White House would repeal a bill that prevented a $4 trillion increase in taxes.
18. She Wants to Ban Fracking..
“There’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking,” Harris said during a 2019 CNN town hall.
19. She Voted Against Protections for Born-Alive Babies..
Harris failed infants in 2019 when she voted alongside other Democrats against legislation that would compel doctors to give babies born alive after botched abortions the same level of care other humans receive.
20. She Wants to Strip Americans of Their Health Insurance..
During a CNN town hall forum in 2019, Harris said she wanted to eliminate all private insurance, which would strip millions of Americans of their health coverage.
21. Yet She Wants Taxpayer-Funded Health Care for Illegal Border Crossers..
“I am opposed to any policy that would deny in our country any human being from access to public safety, public education or public health, period,” Harris told CNN’s Jake Tapper in 2019.
22. She Proudly Enabled the Jussie Smollett Race Hoax..
Harris called the staged hate crime an “attempted modern-day lynching.” She did not apologize even after Smollett was found guilty of felony disorderly conduct and making false police reports.
23. She Socializes With Notorious Antisemites..
Harris claimed Rev. Al Sharpton, who has a history of inciting race riots and anti-Jewish pogroms, has “spent his life fighting for what’s right and working to improve our nation.” She also spoke at a summit with ties to the former Women’s March Chair Tamika Mallory, who stepped down after praising Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.
24. She Demanded Twitter Deplatform Trump..
In 2019, Harris called on then-Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to suspend Donald Trump’s account because she deemed his tweets incendiary.
25. She Sponsored Legislation That Would Codify Abortion Through All Nine Months..
As a senator, Harris was a proud co-sponsor of the original version of the “Women’s Health Protection Act,” which sought to codify abortion through all nine months of pregnancy.
26. She Compared Border Security to the KKK..
As a senator, Harris asked the acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement if he “saw any parallels” between the KKK and his agency.
27. She’s Into AOC’s Socialism..
When pressed about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s proposed 70 percent tax hike in 2019, Harris called the freshman legislator “fantastic” and praised her for “challenging the status quo.”
28. She’s Openly Anti-Catholic..
As a senator in 2018, Harris smeared Brian Buescher, a nominee for the U.S. District Court in Nebraska, for his affiliation with the famous Catholic fraternal organization Knights of Columbus and its historically pro-life views.
29. She Aided the Character Assassination of Brett Kavanaugh..
Harris not only publicly declared her belief in Christine Blasey Ford’s evidenceless allegations against Justice Brett Kavanaugh but used her position as senator to interrupt and smear the Trump nominee numerous times during his 2018 confirmation hearings. Even after Kavanaugh officially joined the high court, Harris claimed his confirmation was a “denial of justice for the women of this country.”
30. She Prosecuted Journalists for Doing Their Jobs..
As California attorney general, Harris prosecuted journalists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt for exposing Planned Parenthood for trafficking the body parts of aborted babies. Part of her prosecution involved a raid on Daleiden’s house, where investigators allegedly seized footage further implicating the abortion giant and handed it over to Harris’ abortion campaign donors.
