Does Anybody Really Know What Government Is ?
“If physical force is to be barred from social relationships, men need an institution charged with the task of protecting their rights under an objective code of rules.
This is the task of a government—of a proper government—its basic task, its only moral justification and the reason why men do need a government.
A government is the means of placing the retaliatory use of physical force under objective control—i.e., under objectively defined laws …”
“… The only proper purpose of a government is to protect man’s rights, which means: to protect him from physical violence. A proper government is only a policeman, acting as an agent of man’s self-defense, and, as such, may resort to force only against those who start the use of force. The only proper functions of a government are: the police, to protect you from criminals; the army, to protect you from foreign invaders; and the courts, to protect your property and contracts from breach or fraud by others, to settle disputes by rational rules, according to objective law. But a government that initiates the employment of force against men who had forced no one, the employment of armed compulsion against disarmed victims, is a nightmare infernal machine designed to annihilate morality: such a government reverses its only moral purpose and switches from the role of protector to the role of man’s deadliest enemy, from the role of policeman to the role of a criminal vested with the right to the wielding of violence against victims deprived of the right of self-defense. Such a government substitutes for morality the following rule of social conduct: you may do whatever you please to your neighbor, provided your gang is bigger than his.”
— Ayn Rand, author of “The Fountainhead” and “Atlas Shrugged”
Today’s government (both parties, especially the DemComs) are NOTHING like what Rand described, nor what America’s founders envisioned.
Today’s government is a glorified, legalized gang of mobsters — who grow fat, rich and old (none of them seem to die) as parasites on what’s left of the productive public (rich or poor, the productive are now a minority in our floundering culture).
Sad. So sad. It never had to be, and America was once such an admirable place compared to now.
Voting won’t resolve the problem. Voting has to do with the officials in the government — and the government is way too far gone. It’s rotten to the core. Donald Trump’s unsuccessful attempt to contain the politicians and bureaucrats only made them worse, in the end. It’s like stirring up a rattlesnake without the proper poison to swiftly destroy it.
Sure, vote. It might make you feel better. The mobsters will still be in charge, either way. Until more of us become good people– self-responsible, active, rational, honest, liberty-loving people — nothing will change. We must not look in futility for politicians to rescue us. That’s not what government is for. First, we’ve got to rescue ourselves.

The Fascists are Calling Us Fascists
Democratic House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) compared the state of American democracy to pre- and early-Hitler Germany.
He says Republicans are today’s fascists. Actually, fascism is in HIS party. HIS party is the party of midnight FBI raids on political opponents, forced masks, forced experimental medical treatments, special treatment and segregation by race, hyperinflation, use of government schools to indoctrinate school children, gun confiscation and one-party rule.
It stretches the concept of psychological projection to absurd heights for a member of a party DOING THE VERY SAME THINGS THE NAZIS DID to accuse the opposing party of Nazism.

America is NOT a Democracy–and Should Never Be
America is NOT a democracy.
In a democracy, 50.1 percent have unlimited power over 49.9 percent of the population.
Democracy is mob rule.
In a republic, the individual and property rights of the citizens are paramount. Everything in the Constitution of the republic exists for one purpose only: to preserve the rights of the individual.
The individual does not exist for the sake of the state. The state exists for the sake of preserving the rights of the individual. The moment the state becomes committed to something else, it should be subdued or dissolved.
“Majority rule” is a good principle when applied to (honest) elections. But “majority rule” cannot mean the ability of the majority — the mob — to violate the rights of individuals or minorities.
As Ayn Rand once wrote, the smallest minority on earth is the individual. It’s the most vulnerable entity.
The sinister tyrants — epitomized by Bidens, Pelosis, Cheneys, Obamas, Bushes, Romneys and McConnells — who now occupy the federal government (and many state governments) in the USA keep accusing dissenters of “attacking democracy.” Lovers of liberty are right to reject democracy.
But these tyrants care nothing for democracy or republics. They will use the principles of either to advance their wealth, and their power.
They stand for nothing, other than their own unlimited wealth and power.
When they lock up peaceful protesters who objected to a questionable election in 2020, they’re not preserving the rights of individuals; they’re preserving their own power. Like all dictators, they are scared. Scared dictators lash out.
Liberty belongs to one entity: to the individual. The most profound and sacred right is the right to be left the hell alone.

Republicans: Curb Your Enthusiasm
I detest Communism and fascism — the policies of America’s Democratic Party — more than anything. Yet: I have mixed feelings about a Republican blowout victory next week. If it happens, there will be triumphant cries throughout conservative underground media.
But we have to remember: There have been Republican triumphs before, bigger than this one will probably be. And the net result? ZERO. Government has grown, the debt has grown, inflation has returned, taxes have gone up and the number of people dependent on the government dole (especially now with open borders) has gone into the stratosphere.
So curb your enthusiasm. Elections are a great way to send a message. But messages and talk, by themselves, have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to advance the cause of freedom in the years since Reagan left office. Reagan’s terms in office bought us some time. Trump’s term did the same, though because he served only one term, the impact wasn’t too lasting. Congressional victories of Republicans have done nothing. In fact, Obama bragged when he left office (accurately) that Republicans in Congress gave him more spending, taxes and control than Democrats did.
Be excited, but don’t kid yourself. We’re in deep trouble. And even if Republicans win big, the Deep State will act even more destructively than it did after Trump’s victory. The mask is off these rancid statists and we now have, in America, precisely the unwarranted, unlimited government our Constitution was supposed to protect us from, but no longer does. Why does it no longer protect us? Because the people in power brazenly and consistently ignore the Constitution. It means nothing to them. And they hold enough power, even without Congress, to tighten the noose on a population that — so far — seems completely unwilling to fight back.

Hammering Away at the Pelosis
In propaganda media, the truth or falsehood of a story is irrelevant. Today’s journalists are not in the business of finding truth; they are in the business of advancing narratives on behalf of elites in control.
The purpose of the bizarre Paul Pelosi hammer story is simply to shame patriots and dissidents into shutting up, after they’re blamed for an attack because of their “hate speech” in favor of, you know, things like the Bill of Rights.

In the Fall of a Republic, We are all Gangsters Now
Despite our problems, things have never been better, materially and technologically. Yet things have rarely, if ever, been worse psychologically and intellectually.
The material and economic comforts of today are not the result of the culture. The culture is frankly insane. We still enjoy comfort today because of the sanity, rationality, self-responsibility and economic freedom that dominated earlier eras. Not today’s era of snowflakery, faux science, group hysteria, paranoia and an unrelenting pathological need to control others.
If we’re to preserve, sustain and expand the wonderful world we have created, it’s imperative we fix our mental and intellectual states. On our present road of insanity, few of us will even want freedom, much less be able to handle it.
Your leftist, statist neighbor is happy to vote for someone who will force you, at gunpoint if necessary, to do something you would not otherwise do. It’s so easy! No blood, no unpleasantness. Just raw coercion and total control.
Yet it can’t last forever. And we are very near the endpoint. Trump’s movement was when it first became overt.
As our government becomes more and more corrupt, unstable and unsustainable, the question now is:
Will that same neighbor be PERSONALLY prepared to hold you up at gunpoint to force you to do what he/she wants you to do? Or hire an armed thug to do so? We are all gangsters now, especially since politicians no longer conceal their rotten, hollow, amoral natures.
Increasingly, the mask is off. Governments fall apart and collapse. That’s when you find out what people REALLY believe.
