Is Today’s Federal Government Even Still Constitutional?

America was supposed to be about freedom. In the beginning, that was fairly easy. America was mostly a wilderness. It’s not that life in a wilderness is easy. It’s just that government is mostly beside the point, when you’re just a wilderness. As the colonies began to settle, there was more civilization, surrounded by wilderness. Government had to be, by definition, small and limited. The economy wasn’t that huge, so the government couldn’t be huge, either.

America ended up being very successful. Freedom breeds prosperity; people still don’t understand this, and the American experience has not taught them yet. The economy of America became huge. Because the economy was so strong and people’s love of liberty was so strong, the military became strong and capable, too. The military tended to mirror the government. When the government was more about protecting liberty than about domination, the military tended to be the same way. This peaked at the end of World War II, in the 1940s. As the government became more and more concerned with domination — i.e. one pressure group winning over another, and all pressure groups winning over the liberty of the individual — then the military’s goals changed, as well. That’s how we got first Korea, then Vietnam, and then endless wars in the Middle East and now Ukraine with no known purpose other than to feed the bank accounts of the people who profit from them (brazenly and with almost no pretense, now with Ukraine).

The bottom line is this: The American federal government is no longer about protecting liberty. Not one bit. Show me ANY major evidence to the contrary, about the federal government. It’s ALL about domination. It’s never about choice, and it’s never about upholding the freedom of the individual. Whether the federal government is arresting peaceful protestors who dispute election results — under the guise of “insurrection” for which the government presents no evidence and doesn’t even feel a need to do so; or whether the government is outlawing gas cars and gas stoves; or whether the government is pressuring Facebook and Twitter behind the scenes to censor posts and speech critical of the government; or whether the federal government is using its funds to teach only one point-of-view (the government’s) at universities and in elementary and secondary schools, intimidating and throttling anyone who disagrees; or whether the government is threatening to ban guns for self-protection while, at the same time, releasing child molesters, rapists and murderers; or whether the federal government is ignoring its own immigration laws and letting in people they believe will become political constituents by making them immediate and (they hope) permanent wards of the state via government benefits; on and on and on. No matter what the federal government now does, it has NOTHING to do with the protection of individual rights (not even nominally, not anymore) and EVERYTHING to do with domination.

Freedom is not domination. The two are polar opposites, in fact. When a government becomes all about domination, it’s just as much the enemy of the people as the criminals whom the previous, rights-respecting government used to protect us from. In the 1940s, the federal government acted to protect us from Hitler. Today, its policies are increasingly similar to those of Hitler or Stalin. Just look at the FBI and CDC, if you don’t believe me. The government IS the problem now — our own federal government, more than anyone else in the world.

Increasingly, this will be the issue facing millions and millions more Americans. Because right now many are complacent (“it can’t happen here”) and many even enjoy watching the government domination (i.e, violating the individual rights of) people whom they dislike (pretty much any hardcore Democrat or leftist is delighted by the advance of totalitarianism). But eventually it will come around to them, at least to most of them, because unless you’re a billionaire AND are politically connected, you won’t be able to fend off the dominating forces of what is now a ruthless, amoral and completely unconsitutional, antirepublican gang of mobsters we still insist on calling a government.

James at 15….Dead at 62

Lance Kerwin is dead, at only 62. If you’re old enough to remember the TV show “James at 15” from the late 1970s, you’ll probably remember it was a cultural jolt at the time, because it addressed teenage sex.

Have you noticed a pattern with these shocking, unexplained deaths? In one form or another the media keeps saying, “Everyone is shocked at the death, as there were no symptoms of illness noticed. No further details are available, and the family has requested that we don’t bother them at this time.” Before the last year or two, when did the media EVER respect this perfectly understandable wish of grieving families?

The growing number of these inexplicable deaths at ages like 62, or 35, or 28, or 49 does not — by itself — prove any specific thing, I realize. But it certainly warrants some investigative research and reporting. And we KNOW that’s never going to happen.

If you think that these dishonest, insensitive, utterly corrupt media organizations like CNN, MSN and ABC/NBC/CBS really care one TINY bit about respecting the wishes of grieving families, you probably voted for Biden (and will again).

Why Is There a Mental Health Crisis? I Will Tell You Why!

Why is there a mental health crisis? You cannot have sanity without reason, responsibility and freedom. All 3 are dying.

Reason means that feelings are in the back seat; thinking is in the driver’s seat.

It’s not that thinking automatically leads to the right conclusion and feelings automatically lead to the wrong conclusion. Often, thinking will get to the truth sooner than feelings. However, in some cases feelings get to the truth first. But the question is: HOW DO YOU KNOW? You don’t know whether a feeling — or a thought — is objectively valid until you think about it. Thinking is not automatic; you have to work at it. And thinking is not guaranteed to be right every time. Your best effort at thinking will sometimes lead to a wrong conclusion, due to a faulty premise or insufficient facts. But erroneous thinking is self-correcting. How? Through more thinking. Knowledge and truth are works in progress — for an individual, or a society.

Man’s nature is as a conceptual animal. The way to concepts is through thinking. If you choose not to think — and thinking IS a choice — then you’re left with the undigested content of your subconscious. You’ll be worse off than an animal, because an animal at least has its instincts, preprogrammed to ensure sustainable survival. Humans cannot survive without thinking. You and I cannot survive unless we think — OR, in the case of taking charity or outright mooching, surviving on the thinking of others.

Thinking is under attack as never before. Intellectuals, media buffoons, celebrity airheads, and psychopathic despots are all around us. They attack thinking everywhere they can. If you listen to them, or try to emulate them, you will arrest your own thinking capacity. Unfortunately, most people are inclined to go along with what people in the limelight say. As a result, they’re losing their thinking capacities because they’re being led NOT to think. This leads to mental and emotional instability. Why? Because you can’t have mental stability without thinking.

As thinking goes, responsibility goes. You can’t be independent and self-responsible if you cannot take care of yourself. And you cannot take care of yourself with impaired or nonexistent thinking.

Freedom is the last thing to go. And it’s going. The reason freedom is going isn’t simply because the thugs and dictators in power are mean. Of course they’re mean, if not evil and satanic. But they only have power because the majority of us can or will no longer think. The politicians and unelected thugs simply cash in on our weakness. If we knew how to think for ourselves, and still did so confidently, a dictatorship would not have a prayer in America, or anywhere else. But we’re no longer thinking. If they say there’s an epic virus, despite a 99.9999 percent survival rate, then there’s an epic virus. If they say, take the vaccine and you’ll never get the virus again — and you still get the virus again — then, due to lack of thinking, we take them at their word that the vaccine is only not working because some people refused to take it. If they say the sky is falling and that the only solution is to repeal industrial civilization and return to the physical misery of the past (unless you’re an elite, of course), then we tend to assume … “Well, what the hell do I know?” It starts with recycling for no reason. It ends with handing over your car, and going back to heating your home with a fireplace, like Little House on the Prairie (unless fire, like gas stoves, gets outlawed too.)

As thinking declines, so does freedom. When thinking is gone, you’re left with mass insanity and total dictatorship.

None of what ruined America and the rest of the free world was ever necessary or inevitable. But so long as we refuse or remain unable to think for ourselves … this is what we get.

The Environmentalist Assault on Civilization

This is understandable, and woke ideology and the policies it spawns are ridiculous, destructive folly that must be crushed. But the highly visible depredations of woke activists become even more dangerous if they distract us from the encroachments green policies are making into every detail of individual private lives. The harmful impacts of the green machine are, in many ways, far more substantial and comprehensive.

The Upside of Green Policies for Big Business

When California, and then the entire nation, bans the production of incandescent light bulbs, that is an obvious intrusion into the market and the quality of life for everyday Californians. But less obvious is the inversion of incentives that drive the push for energy efficiency at the expense of health or affordability. As Californians pay exorbitant prices to bathe themselves in high wavelength light, disrupting their circadian rhythms, and as Californians endure the unhealthy micro-flickers of LEDs hooked to inadequate transformers, manufacturers gain new customers and sell higher-priced goods.

A more subtle green inversion of economic incentives, but just as contrary to the public interest, is when electric utilities convert to “renewables” (i.e., wind farms, solar farms, and battery farms) at staggering cost, while decommissioning fully paid-for nuclear power plantshydroelectric dams, and natural gas power plants. As the electricity price to the consumer soars, the regulated public utilities earn more profits, since their pricing and hence their profits are based on a percentage markup over their costs. If your profit is limited to 9 percent, you’ll make a lot more money if you’re billing 30 cents per kilowatt-hour than if you’re billing 10 cents per kilowatt-hour. That’s an easy business decision.

It is obvious when dams are removed instead of new ones being built that farmers get less water. But less obvious are the ripple effects. Without a guaranteed water supply, new housing construction can’t get approved, limiting the supply of new homes and driving up the price for all housing. Then again, housing in California is too expensive anyway, thanks to green policies that limit where new homes can get built, absurdly overwritten building codes requiring “energy neutrality,” obscenely expensive costs for building permits, a capricious approval process that—without exaggeration—can take decades to navigate, and the constant threat of litigation by environmentalists to stop any new construction.

For every fundamental necessity, gasoline, natural gas, water, electricity, and housing, California’s green policies have created artificial scarcity. Everything costs more. The poor have lost all hope of achieving private financial independence, the middle class shrinks, and the rich get richer. A frustrated lobbyist in Sacramento recently summed it up: “Most environmentalists don’t care about people,” he said, “the old Democratic Party wanted to use government to make people’s lives better, but today their solution is to use government to make life harder then hook them to make them dependent on government. They want to use government to destroy the incentive to be productive. But if you kill off all the productive people, eventually society collapses.”

What’s Happening in California Is Happening Everywhere

It’s one thing to impose green scarcity on California, a state that can coast a while longer on the infrastructure investments of 50 years ago and rely on tapping the stupefying accumulation of wealth concentrated in its high-tech industry. But the marionettes that are implementing the green assault on civilization are everywhere.

One of the most recent fronts in their widening war on prosperity is the farming sector, from Canada and Spain to the Netherlands and Sri Lanka and elsewhere. Based on the contention that farm fertilizer is a factor in causing climate change, policymakers have decided to shut down huge sectors of commercial agriculture. The new regulations that will permit continued operations, of course, will be far too expensive for all but the largest global agribusiness concerns.

It’s not hard to see what’s happening here. There is no economic activity, anywhere, that doesn’t create greenhouse gas. Make it impossible for all but the wealthiest corporations to comply with the new edicts, and you roll up the world.

Unfortunately, when a rare thunderstorm delivers atomic-sounding sonic blasts to uninitiated Californians whose only previous experiences with sound that kinetic were the occasional punk driving by with his subwoofer turned up, they’re ready to believe the storm porn that pours out of every establishment news source. “Bomb cyclone.” “Polar vortex.” “Atmospheric River.” “Supercell.” “Snowpocalypse.” It’s all part of the “new normal,” as we allegedly encounter more and more “extreme weather events.”

Except we aren’t.

Old-timers can remember the 1960s, when storms pulverized California, causing floods and freezes, but back then we didn’t listen to climate agenda-driven news. Storms were “storms.” And there weren’t ubiquitous high-resolution satellite images and video editing tools to allow every local weatherman to splash terrifying images onto our screens of cloud formations covering half the Pacific Ocean. But that doesn’t mean such cloud formations didn’t exist.

Around the world, the same game is played. Pakistan’s recent floods, despite the doomsday spin from PBS, were not abnormal because of “climate change.” They were an abnormal catastrophe because in just 60 years, the population of that nation has grown from 45 million to 240 million people. They’ve channelized their rivers, built dense new settlements onto what were once floodplains and other marginal land, they’ve denuded their forestswhich took away the capacity to absorb runoff, and they’ve paved thousands of square miles creating impervious surfaces where water can’t percolate. Of course a big storm made a mess. The weather didn’t change. The landscape changed.

The disaster story repeats everywhere. And contrary to the narrative, the primary cause is not “climate change.” Bigger tsunamis? Maybe it’s because coastal aquifers were overdrafted which caused land subsidence, or because previously uninhabited tidelands were settled because the population quintupled in less than two generations, and because coastal mangrove forests were destroyed which used to attenuate big waves. What about deforestation? Perhaps because these nations have been denied the ability to develop natural gas and hydroelectric power, they’re stripping away the forests for fuel to cook their food. In some cases, they’re burning their forests to make room for biofuel plantations, in a towering display of irony and corruption.

The Biggest Big Lie in the World

And behind it all is a big lie: the “climate emergency.” It’s not true.

Anyone hoping to stop the environmentalist assault on civilization must realize that it isn’t enough to challenge the individual policies that are supposedly designed to save the climate. It isn’t even enough to expose the preposterous, nihilistic, catastrophic, civilization-destroying absurdity of them—as if it is possible to transition to nothing but biofuel, wind, and solar energy and still deliver prosperity to 8 billion people within a decade or two.

What could work, however, would be to challenge the core premise of the climate alarmist movement. Learn the facts, evaluate the arguments of contrarian experts, and make up your own mind. If you no longer believe we actually face a climate emergency, say so, without reservations, in every venue and to every person and institution you can possibly influence.

Doing this may be deemed antisocial, and it may be suppressed, but it is a healthy expression of sanity. It used to be that when someone ran about claiming the world is about to end, that person was considered a lunatic. Let’s go back to those days. Human civilization could be entering a golden age of progress and prosperity, but it cannot get there without producing carbon dioxide.

With prosperity, we can adapt as we always have. With tyranny and poverty, we can do nothing. Climate alarmism is tyranny with green wrapping, delivered with terror.

People Don’t Understand What FREEDOM Really Means

In a truly free country, no governor or president could declare an official emergency. As COVID fascism proves, it’s a blank slate for dictatorship. At a minimum, we should have arrested all public officials who declared emergencies, prosecuted them and ensure they never hold office again. Instead they have been reelected and rewarded as billionaires. It’s a perverse inversion of liberty, justice and rationality from which the U.S. will not recover–until we do it. The last 3 years have been worse than the outrages leading up to 1776. It’s embarrassing to be part of a society so indifferent to its own inalienable rights, rights that earlier generations so valiantly fought and even died for.

************

Capitalism, properly understood, refers to private ownership, economic freedom and NO government involvement, other than enforcement of property rights. What these creatures have in mind is fascism: control by a few (meaning: them) where government is all powerful, nobody may own their own property (except them) and nobody but the politically connected can be rich.

If you think this is reforming, then you’re an ignorant fool. They are not fools, because they know exactly what they’re doing. They’re just evil.

Global Communism: The Greatest Evil Since Hitler and Stalin

“Globalism” means only one thing: Global Communism: With an elite to collect the proceeds and control everything, from what we eat, to how much and what kind of fuel we use until (ultimately) we get to controls on the number of children we may have, whom we may marry and all the rest.

The nightmare that Marx claimed (erroneously) to be capitalism is, in fact, the ghoulish totalitarian hellfest prescribed (and, increasingly) executed by the sociopaths at the World Economic Forum. These are the monsters in office across the globe and in every branch of government–including the United States.

Freedom and these monsters cannot coexist. At some point more of us will come to understand: it’s either us, or them. You can’t compromise with evil, especially not evil of this magnitude.

Biden is Finished; Who’s up Next ?

Poor helpless, hapless, mumbling, stumbling, bumbling brain-dead Joe Biden. It’s all over for him. The puppet’s days are clearly numbered.

It’s so obvious what’s happening. Biden’s presidency is over. The Deep State and DC Swamp don’t need him anymore. He served his purpose. Now they want him out.

There are two reasons why all of this is happening now.

First, Democrats realize Biden is not only the worst candidate in the history of politics, but he is deteriorating right in front of everyone’s eyes. Biden may have started out as a brain-dead puppet, wearing masks and diapers, and hiding in his Delaware basement. But those were “the good old days.”

Now the secret is out of the basement. The cat is out of the bag. Everyone knows. Even most Democrats finally got the message- they don’t want Biden in 2024.

So, the same Deep State that installed him needs to remove him, so they get a head start on rigging the next election in 2024.

Enter Biden’s mishandled classified document scandal. Perfect timing. Biden has been set up by his own Deep State. Suddenly documents just happen to be found in both his U. of Penn office and his Delaware garage. Who found them? Why would corrupt Democrats (who are world class experts at coverups- see the rigged and stolen 2020 election, the Covid vaccine propaganda, and the January 6th hearings) decide to publicly report them? Why wouldn’t they ignore them, or cover-up the scandal?

Why indeed. Because they want Biden out.

Think of all the crimes of Biden. Ukraine. China. Bribery. Extortion. Hunter’s laptop. The rigged and stolen 2020 election. Open borders. All the deaths from Biden’s vaccine mandate. The humiliating retreat from Afghanistan. And after all of that, Biden will be forced out for classified documents in his garage?

Read the tea leaves. For Biden, the end is near. Soon he will either be impeached, indicted, or forced to resign in disgrace.

Who is behind all this? You might guess the ultimate Deep State family: the Obamas. Obama has been running this presidency from behind the shadows from the start. Biden is Obama’s puppet. Obama put him in the White House. Now he’s sending Joe off to the assisted living house.

Why? My best guess is to make room for Michelle Obama as the Democrat’s presidential candidate for 2024. This is Obama’s grand plan. It will be the fourth and fifth terms of Obama. Obama himself got two terms. Then his puppet Biden got a term. Now he wants Michelle to give him two more terms.

With five terms, Obama will beat the all-time record held by the last Democrat dictator who tried to turn America into a socialist nation- FDR.

But never lose sight of the Clinton Crime Family’s ties to the Deep State. This could be the Clinton’s throwing grandpa from the plane to make room for…Hillary Part Deux.

In the end, I think I’d put my money on door number three: the Pelosi Crime Family. They are tied to the Deep State like Gotti was tied to the mafia. Maybe Aunt Nancy is throwing Biden under the bus to make room for her nephew, California Dictator Gavin Newsom (who openly lusts for the White House).

Those are the leading choices for whom the Deep State criminals are throwing Grandpa Joe to the wolves. I’m betting by 2024 (and most probably, sooner) one of those three candidates will be running for president, while serving as the incumbent President of the United States.

How will they get to the top? Dumb-as-a-doorknob Kamala will soon be forced to resign to a retirement of wealth, fancy San Francisco dinners, and $100,000 speeches. One of those three will be installed as the new VP, and after Biden’s forced removal, ascend to the throne.

Now to the second reason why the Deep State is suddenly so intent on getting rid of Biden: Because if they can either indict, convict, or force Biden from office on the charge of mishandling classified documents, it is a 2-for-1. They get rid of albatross Biden AND they make it easier to indict and convict Trump for the same charges. Removing Biden gives them “cover” to show how “fair” and “honest” and “unbiased” they are.

Can’t you hear their argument: “Fair is fair. We got rid of both Biden and Trump for the same crime. We never played politics.”

And of course, in the end, getting rid of Trump is what everything is about for these obsessed Trump-hating Democrats. They’d sell their own mother down the river for the chance to eliminate Trump. He is the only thing standing in the way of turning us all into serfs and slaves. So, Trump must go. This is how they get him out of the way- indict him, destroy his reputation, and tie him up in court for the next two years.

Leftism, in a Nutshell

Here’s leftism, in a nutshell:

“Freedom? You have freedom. You have freedom to be a decent human being. If you don’t want to be a decent human being, then you have no freedom. You DON’T have the freedom to ruin the planet by using fossil fuels. You DON’T have the freedom to engage in insurrection, not when it’s against one of the people I support. You have freedom of speech, but you DON’T have the freedom to express hatred. If you don’t have anything nice to say, then shut the hell up. Anything I consider not nice qualifies as hatred. And no, you have no right to bear arms. That’s ONLY the right of the government — the police, and the army. ONLY if the government is run by people I like. If the government is run by Donald Trump, then the army and police, at that point, have no rights either.

So basically I, and people who think like me, get to decide who’s armed, and who isn’t; who’s in jail, and who isn’t; and basically, who lives or dies, if it comes to that. If you’d only stop spewing hatred, stop altering the climate and ruining the planet, and stop refusing to accept the will of our progressive government, then you’d have all the freedom you want. Freedom is for those who have earned it. Progressives like me have earned it. Haters, misogynists, homophobes, transphobes, Islamophobes and unenlightened idiots like you have no rights. You’re lucky we let you still roam free at all. Got it?”
