Is Secession Next ?
The state of Texas one day will likely have to take the border situation into its own hands if the federal government won’t help, as President Joe Biden is “just unaware of the challenges that are facing us,” Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush, who is running for his state’s attorney general position, said on Newsmax Saturday.
“Texas is probably gonna have to assert its sovereignty and do the job of the federal government if they’re not going to do it for us, whether that’s constructing a wall on state lands or interdicting, apprehending, and prosecuting illegals understate trespassing law,” Bush, a Republican, said on Newsmax TV.
“Texas is a big and bold state and we’re going to have to do this job.”
A different kind of Bush, for sure! I believe it’s even worse than he says. Texas will have to secede. I believe under DeSantis, Florida will take the lead. DemComs do not believe in the Constitution, and they are no longer merely a political party; they are an occupation. Like it or not, “Democrats” are already at war with decent, freedom-loving Americans, and they will NEVER let go of power. Just watch and see. At some point, we’re going to have to face the fact that we’re already at war.

Once Again, Trump Nails it
President Donald Trump, at his most recent rally: “Despite great outside powers and dangers, our biggest threat remains the sick, sinister, and evil people from within our own country.
“There is no threat as dangerous to democracy as they are. Just look at the un-select committee of political hacks and what they’re doing to our country while radical-left murderers, rapists, and insurrectionists roam free: Nothing happens to them.
“But no matter how big or powerful these corrupt radicals may be, you must never forget this nation does not belong to them. This nation belongs to you. This is your home. This is your heritage, and your great American liberty is your God-given right.”
The War in Ukraine is a Racket
War is a racket, wrote US Maj. General Smedley Butler in 1935. He explained: “A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small ‘inside’ group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.”
Gen. Butler’s observation describes the US/NATO response to the Ukraine war perfectly.
The propaganda continues to portray the war in Ukraine as that of an unprovoked Goliath out to decimate an innocent David unless we in the US and NATO contribute massive amounts of military equipment to Ukraine to defeat Russia. As is always the case with propaganda, this version of events is manipulated to bring an emotional response to the benefit of special interests.
One group of special interests profiting massively on the war is the US military-industrial complex. Raytheon CEO Greg Hayes recently told a meeting of shareholders that, “Everything that ‘s being shipped into Ukraine today, of course, is coming out of stockpiles, either at DOD or from our NATO allies, and that’s all great news. Eventually we’ll have to replenish it and we will see a benefit to the business.”
He wasn’t lying. Raytheon, along with Lockheed Martin and countless other weapons manufacturers are enjoying a windfall they have not seen in years. The US has committed more than three billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine. They call it aid, but it is actually corporate welfare: Washington sending billions to arms manufacturers for weapons sent overseas.
By many accounts these shipments of weapons like the Javelin anti-tank missile (jointly manufactured by Raytheon and Lockheed Martin) are getting blown up as soon as they arrive in Ukraine. This doesn’t bother Raytheon at all. The more weapons blown up by Russia in Ukraine, the more new orders come from the Pentagon.
Former Warsaw Pact countries now members of NATO are in on the scam as well. They’ve discovered how to dispose of their 30-year-old Soviet-made weapons and receive modern replacements from the US and other western NATO countries.
While many who sympathize with Ukraine are cheering, this multi-billion dollar weapons package will make little difference. As former US Marine intelligence officer Scott Ritter said on the Ron Paul Liberty Report last week, “I can say with absolute certainty that even if this aid makes it to the battlefield, it will have zero impact on the battle. And Joe Biden knows it.”
What we do see is that Russians are capturing modern US and NATO weapons by the ton and even using them to kill more Ukrainians. What irony. Also, what kinds of opportunities will be provided to terrorists, with thousands of tons of deadly high-tech weapons floating around Europe? Washington has admitted that it has no way of tracking the weapons it is sending to Ukraine and no way to keep them out of the hands of the bad guys.
War is a racket, to be sure. The US has been meddling in Ukraine since the end of the Cold War, going so far as overthrowing the government in 2014 and planting the seeds of the war we are witnessing today. The only way out of a hole is to stop digging. Don’t expect that any time soon. War is too profitable.

Green Fascism
Energy Crisis: Italy to Ration Use of Air Conditioning, Heat, to Wean Country Off Russian Power” [Breitbart headline]
And here it is: The fully expected sequel to COVID fascism. Ayn Rand called the 1970s environmental movement “The anti-Industrial Revolution.” Now we are seeing the implementation of that revolution. Green fascism does not seek to make life better for humans; it seeks to destroy life as humans know it, and will ultimately kill millions as we go backwards in time.
It’s not mainly about Russia. It’s about Green.
In the not-too-distant future, on our present path, you will read a headline like this: “Energy Crisis: America to Ration Use of Air Conditioning, Heat, to Wean Country Off Fossil Fuels.”
I promise you: This is coming, unless we remove from power (as well as arrest and prosecute) all who imposed fascism on us with the excuse of the flu. They will try again, and the excuse with fossil fuels will make their fascism PERMANENT, this time.

DeSantis has Figured out how to Deal with Disney
DeSantis deals final blow to Disney’s longtime special status over opposition to parental rights law.” [headline]
DeSantis has figured it out. SHUT DOWN their special favors. END the subsidies. Let the loony leftists fend for themselves on an open market. See how long they last. Say goodnight, Mickey.
The Danger of Radical Environmentalism
The fundamental goal of environmentalism is not clean air and clean water; rather, it is the demolition of technological/industrial civilization. Environmentalism’s goal is not the advancement of human health, human happiness, and human life; rather, it is a subhuman world where “nature” is worshipped like the totem of some primitive religion.
A version of this article was first published in 2005. Capitalism Magazine is republishing it again because its message still remains relevant today.
Earth Day approaches, and with it a grave danger faces mankind. The danger is not from acid rain, global warming, smog, or the logging of rain forests, as environmentalists would have us believe. The danger to mankind is from environmentalism.
In a nation founded on the pioneer spirit, environmentalists have made “development” an evil word. They inhibit or prohibit the development of Alaskan oil, offshore drilling, nuclear power–and evlery other practical form of energy. Housing, commerce, and jobs are sacrificed to spotted owls and snail darters. Medical research is sacrificed to the “rights” of mice. Logging is sacrificed to the “rights” of trees. No instance of the progress that brought man out of the cave is safe from the onslaught of those “protecting” the environment from man, whom they consider a rapist and despoiler by his very essence.
Nature, they insist, has “intrinsic value,” to be revered for its own sake, irrespective of any benefit to man. As a consequence, man is to be prohibited from using nature for his own ends. Since nature supposedly has value and goodness in itself, any human action that changes the environment is necessarily immoral. Of course, environmentalists invoke the doctrine of intrinsic value not against wolves that eat sheep or beavers that gnaw trees; they invoke it only against man, only when man wants something.
The ideal world of environmentalism is not twenty-first-century Western civilization; it is the Garden of Eden, a world with no human intervention in nature, a world without innovation or change, a world without effort, a world where survival is somehow guaranteed, a world where man has mystically merged with the “environment.” Had the environmentalist mentality prevailed in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, we would have had no Industrial Revolution, a situation that consistent environmentalists would cheer–at least those few who might have managed to survive without the life-saving benefits of modern science and technology.
The expressed goal of environmentalism is to prevent man from changing his environment, from intruding on nature. That is why environmentalism is fundamentally anti-man. Intrusion is necessary for human survival. Only by intrusion can man avoid pestilence and famine. Only by intrusion can man control his life and project long-range goals. Intrusion improves the environment, if by “environment” one means the surroundings of man–the external material conditions of human life. Intrusion is a requirement of human nature. But in the environmentalists’ paean to “Nature,” human nature is omitted. For environmentalism, the “natural” world is a world without man. Man has no legitimate needs, but trees, ponds, and bacteria somehow do.
They don’t mean it? Heed the words of the consistent environmentalists. “The ending of the human epoch on Earth,” writes philosopher Paul Taylor in Respect for Nature: A Theory of Environmental Ethics, “would most likely be greeted with a hearty ‘Good riddance!’” In a glowing review of Bill McKibben’s The End of Nature, biologist David M. Graber writes (Los Angeles Times, October 29, 1989): “Human happiness [is] not as important as a wild and healthy planet . . . . Until such time as Homo sapiens should decide to rejoin nature, some of us can only hope for the right virus to come along.” Such is the naked essence of environmentalism: it mourns the death of one whale or tree but actually welcomes the death of billions of people. A more malevolent, man-hating philosophy is unimaginable.
The guiding principle of environmentalism is self-sacrifice, the sacrifice of longer lives, healthier lives, more prosperous lives, more enjoyable lives, i.e., the sacrifice of human lives. But an individual is not born in servitude. He has a moral right to live his own life for his own sake. He has no duty to sacrifice it to the needs of others and certainly not to the “needs” of the nonhuman.
To save mankind from environmentalism, what’s needed is not the appeasing, compromising approach of those who urge a “balance” between the needs of man and the “needs” of the environment. To save mankind requires the wholesale rejection of environmentalism as hatred of science, technology, progress, and human life. To save mankind requires the return to a philosophy of reason and individualism, a philosophy that makes life on earth possible.

The Telephone
I remember when the telephone was a useful and appreciated device. The digital revolution, one of humanity’s most unfortunate developments, has turned the telephone into a nuisance and a threat.
The telephone is such a nuisance that most people no longer answer when it rings or even bother to set up the feature to record phone messages. The telephone is such a nuisance that many people do not even use it for calls. Instead, they text, and they only answer texts.
Ninety-five percent of the calls I get are scams, tele-marketing and robo-marketing calls. The telephone is a constant disruption. I don’t answer and rely on the answering machine.
No one I call answers either. Not even businesses. Recently I telephoned the diagnostic center, where tests are done as part of my annual checkup, to confirm the appointment. A long recording in two languages explained everything I had no need to know, but it was impossible to communicate with any live person at the diagnostic center. I could go online, get an apt, create a portal and establish a communication connection. In other words, what the telephone formerly dealt with in 30 seconds now took an hour or two just to set up a method of asking the question. The robot on the other end didn’t say how long I would wait for a reply.
Everyone must have noticed by now that whether you call your bank, credit card company or utility company, reaching a live person is the most difficult and most frustrating task of your day. Everyone has noticed that the recorded message tells you that “we are experiencing an unusual call volume at this time. Your wait time is one hour and 45 minutes. Stay on the line or leave a callback number and we will call you in approximately one hour 45 minutes.”
I can remember when if you called bank, utility, or credit card company, the call was answered by the third ring and the person you reached could resolve whatever problem or question you had.
The digital revolution made it possible for companies to impose costs of doing business on their customers. It is your time that is used up listening to recorded messages of no value to you and awaiting a callback. Often the callback person isn’t trained to handle your question, and you go through the process again.

The digital revolution has turned the telephone into a device that governments and corporations use to spy on you. Privacy is a thing of the past. It is unknown today, and the word itself will probably disappear from the vocabulary. Telephones today are used as computers to constantly surf the Internet. Your visits are recorded and your revealed interests are sold to marketers and, if suspicious, authorities are alerted. Whatever people are doing, walking on the beach, sitting in a bar, eating in a restaurant, driving a car, working on a job, or attending a meeting, the telephone is ubiquitous as the thumb scrolls the page. But its original use–to communicate with another human–is passé.
Biden and CDC Don’t Care about Federal Judge’s Decision
If we had a REAL media, they would ask the obvious question: Why do we have an open borders policy where people testing positive for COVID may enter the country unrestricted; while the rest of us — already legal citizens — must still face mask and vax mandates?
Yes, a wise federal judge recently ended the mask mandates for airports, but the Biden regime and the CDC have already said, “No way.” They’re going to contest it and, in effect, ignore it. Some airports in Chicago, NYC and Philadelphia are keeping the mandates up anyway. How many people will actually follow them in all the confusion remains to be seen. So far, most Americans have been sheep. So can we blame the dictators and thugs in suits to expect any different now?
You have to understand: The Biden regime, including the CDC, is LAWLESS. They answer to nobody and nothing other than their own will. Most of America’s governors and big city mayors are the same. COVID gave them a taste of power they’ll never forget, and they’ll never relinquish. They will not only keep reimposing mandates whenever the “numbers” (translation: their feelings) lead them a certain way; they’re going to extend this to all other controls — on gas, food, electricity, Internet, who knows what else — yet to come. Remember: The precedent has been established. There’s no going back, unless we remove all of these dictators from power, and punish them for what they did.
When you allow people to be dictators and then boutyou leave them in power, this is what you get. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
