Democrats Are Forcing a Civil War

Through Antifa and BLM, the Democrats are preparing for war. The riots, looting, arson, and public beatings taking place every day are merely practice for the coming revolutionary conflagration. They are war-gaming to see how best to seize control of the streets and intimidate citizens into ceding their right to vote for the candidate they support.

From the beginning, they forced the police to stand down. The constant drumbeat for defunding the police has sent a message to LEOs everywhere: “Don’t interfere” when the insurrection goes hot.

Knowing that the police can be constrained into allowing anarchy to reign, they then went after the National Guard and regular army, saying it would be un-American to deploy troops to quell the violence and restore law and order against “mostly peaceful” protesters exercising their First Amendment rights.

They appear to be having great success in controlling the narrative, but if they think this nation is going down without a fight, they have another “think” coming.

Americans believe that one can never be too rich, too thin, or too well armed. And we are, indeed, well armed, with citizens who are beginning to see the game that is being played. Many estimate that between 300 million and 700 million firearms are in the hands of the public.

If only 10% of those guns are brought to bear, it would mean a minimum of 30 million weapons deployed against Antifa and BLM. No one wants to see bloodshed, especially gun-owners, who for the most part want to be left alone to protect their families, homes, places of worship, and places of employment.

Yet people are not going to stand by and watch America become another “socialist paradise.” Americans are going to fight back — this should worry the left, as every hunter is something of a sniper.

Leftists are pushing to see how far they can go before the people confront them. The push for “change only they can believe in” is going to force this country in a series of bloody battles the left cannot win.

Before the economy-killing and unnecessary lockdowns, and the rioting, I would have said the civil war would happen after the election, no matter who won. Yet, those on the left are not going to allow that grace.

Everything they are doing speaks to a political movement preparing to overthrow a nation. They think this country is owed to them and they are determined to take it.

Having sidelined or neutered the National Guard and police, the facts on the ground today are Antifa and BLM rioting in most cases unopposed. They will run rampant in the days and weeks preceding the election unless citizens stand up to them. It is early, but it seems that more and more people have had enough of their terror tactics.

As far as the election is concerned, the police probably will be ordered to stand down, and the National Guard, if they are out at all, will be unarmed. Democrats think voter intimidation will be easy. Why not use rioting, chaos, and anarchy to shut down the polls in areas suspected of supporting the president? Remember the New Black Panther Party in Philadelphia in 2008 — something like that, but more so.

Yet regular Americans vastly outnumber the forces of the left — they can terrorize the populace into submission only if normal people allow them to.

Part of their plan is to use the media to push the BLM message and social media to destroy anyone who does not go along. The “fake history” 1619 Project, claims of systemic racism, the national monument defacements, the toppling of statues with no real coherence as to the reasons why — are all done to rewrite the history and force-sell the notion that all they do is justified because we are to blame.

It is all propaganda to convince citizens that they must acquiesce to the violence or be labeled a racist and be canceled, their jobs gone, and their lives ruined. People are not even allowed to remain silent because “silence is violence.” If they can get people to apologize for their privilege, all the better.

It is all about getting people to be active participants in their machinations to install the “king of aphasia,” Joe Biden, as the new president.

Once Americans accept their culpability, the left can begin the process of healing by abrogating the constitution on which our republic is based. The violence they will use to make this so will be a “healing violence.” After all, one cannot make a revolution omelet without breaking some heads.

They think they can convince Americans to forgo the fight and accept what they will force upon us. We must not allow them to succeed. They must be confronted when they come for our country. We must fight.

To date, the vast majority of Americans do not support the premise that America is unfair and must be changed. In response, the Democrats, in conjunction with Antifa, the party’s paramilitary arm; BLM, the ideological arm of the party; and the media, its propaganda arm, are planning outright rebellion. What we are witnessing now from the Democrats is insurrection. It is a revolution that will end in bloody civil war. The left could not win total control of the nation at the ballot box, so leftists intend to take it.

They have miscalculated; what we are about to see in the streets of this country is going to make the violence and destruction of the riots seem mild by comparison.

But in the end, they lose, And we win.

Attorney General Barr nails it:

“Although Americans hoped that trade and investment would liberalize China’s political system, the fundamental character of the regime has never changed … It remains an authoritarian, one-party state in which the Communist Party wields absolute power, unchecked by popular elections, the rule of law, or an independent judiciary. The CCP surveils its own people and assigns them social credit scores, employs an army of government censors, tortures dissidents, and persecutes religious and ethnic minorities, including a million Uighurs detained in indoctrination and labor camps,” Barr said.

“If what happened in China stayed in China, that would all be bad enough. But instead of America changing China, China is leveraging its economic power to change America,” Barr continued. “The CCP seeks to extend its influence around the world, including on American soil.”

As with legions of others in his generation, my nephew has been brainwashed by years of less-than- honest educators. When it comes to U.S. history, he knows precious little about the Constitution and proclaimed that he “doesn’t care much about the Constitution,” which actually protects him every day.

He claims that it is an old document and that while some parts of the Constitution might be good, “some parts are awful.” In a vigorous email exchange, when I asked him to identify an awful part, he took a long time to reply. Then he referred to slaves in the South being counted as 3/5th in voting – an issue which many people routinely misunderstand.

200 Years of Getting it Wrong

In yesteryear, as today, states with greater populations were allotted more representatives in the U.S. House of Representatives. Southern states wanted all slaves to be counted, but still to be treated as slaves, and not allowed to vote.

Combining resident white voters and resident slave non-voters would give pro slave states more representatives in Congress and thus more power to perpetuate slavery. Anything that the North could do to reduce the head count of slaves diminished the power of the pro slavery lobby. Ergo, the compromise to reduce the slave head count to 3/5th was an anti-slavery move.

The measure was not introduced to degrade the slaves as if they were 3/5th human. They were already degraded; they were slaves, for crying out loud! As Glenn Beck describes this situation in his book, Arguing with Idiots, northern states regarded the compromise as the only way to eventually end slavery. To be clear: 3/5ths of a person was not the value of a slave’s life. It was the value counted in the U.S. Census.

A man named Gouverneur Morris assisted James Madison in drafting the provision. Morris was a contributing author to large sections of the Constitution. He described slavery as “a nefarious institution, the curse of heaven on states where it prevailed.” In fact, Morris opposed the 3/5th compromise because he felt that it would enable the southern states enough representation to indefinitely maintain slavery. He believed that 1/40,000 was a more equitable measure for census purposes.

Slowly and Carefully

The 3/5th compromise represented a forward-thinking act by the anti-slavery faction to keep slaveholding states from wielding too much power. Still, my nephew and others who view the U.S. Constitution with contempt, refuse to understand the truth. Even when you carefully explain the scenario to them, the next day they revert to their reflective notion that the provision was passed to degrade slaves and that the U.S. Constitution is a piece of crap. How can one find common ground with such people?

If only my nephew were an isolated case. He’s part of a generation that simply has no idea about America’s contribution to the world, past and present. Unduly influenced by teachers and professors on a mission to propagate their Leftist views,

my nephew has little if any objectivity when it comes to assessing the parts played by nations throughout the world. He doesn’t know that the UK and the U.S. were the global leaders in ending the slave trade.

He doesn’t know that Communism is responsible for 104 million deaths from

1917 to the present. Most amazingly, he doesn’t know that every day people from around the globe risk everything they have to make it to the U.S., while virtually no one wants to leave.

The Brainwashed Generation Can Escape

Is he and his generation so far gone that they cannot be retrieved? That would be a shame. Fortunately, encouraging signs increasingly appear on the horizon. Brandon Straka, a gay man, realized that the mainstream media was feeding a non-stop series of lies to him. “Once upon a time, I was a liberal,” Straka said in 2018 to TV host Jeanine Pirro.

“For years now,” he told Pirro, “I have watched as the Left has devolved into intolerant, inflexible, illogical, hateful, misguided, ill-informed, un-American, hypocritical, menacing, callous, ignorant, narrow-minded and, at times, blatantly fascistic behavior and rhetoric.” Ultimately, Straka created #Walkaway helping thousands of followers to see the light.

Other people have launched other movements. Hope is on the horizon. My nephew might be redeemable.

This Tuesday, the French celebrated Bastille Day, the mob attack on a Parisian prison that has come to symbolize the French Revolution, a period of massive violence that produced nothing other than a lot of dead Frenchmen. Their revolution was the screech of a mob, much as we are seeing in several of our own cities and towns today. So let’s review this absurdly celebrated event.

As is common with mob violence the storming of the Bastille was set off by a rumor. People began to whisper that the impotent, indecisive king, Louis XVI, was going to attack the new legislative body, the National Assembly.

— Hands Up! Don’t Shoot! (Even Eric Holder’s Justice Department found that claim was a lie — after multiple millions in property damage and human suffering.)

— Mass protests over police killing an innocent black man in Detroit! (Turns out, Hakim Littleton was firing a gun at them.)

— Althea Bernstein’s face was burned with lighter fluid and a match thrown at her by four “classic Wisconsin frat boys“! ((After initial flood-the-zone coverage, that story sure disappeared fast.)

In need of weapons to defend themselves from the imaginary attack, on the morning of July 14, 1789, about 60,000 French citizens armed with pikes and axes assembled at Les Invalides, a barracks for aging soldiers, to demand weapons and ammunition.

— As Sens. Mitt Romney and Marco Rubio can explain to you, antifa carry rocks, incendiary devices and bicycle locks only to defend themselves from “fascists.”

Eventually, the mob broke through the gate of Les Invalides and ransacked the building, seizing 10 cannon and 28,000 muskets. But no ammunition. So they headed for the Bastille, which had once been a fortress.

The rabble feared the Bastille because false rumors of political prisoners being tortured behind its walls. In fact, the Bastille held only a half-dozen prisoners that day, most of them common forgers. They were not being tortured, and the prison was in the process of being shut down, anyway.

With legions of Parisians banging on the gates of the Bastille, the prison’s commander, Marquis de Launay, invited representatives of the people inside to negotiate over breakfast.

— Sure, I’m the chief of police, but I’ll take a knee. That will shut them up.

Their first request was that the cannon be removed from the towers because mounted guns frightened the people. De Launay agreed, and the cannon were withdrawn.

— What if we fly a “BLM” flag?

But the mob outside interpreted the cannon’s disappearance to mean that they were being loaded, about to fire into the crowd! For some reason, they also believed their representatives, lingering over breakfast, had been taken hostage.

As the mob grew, the Bastille’s guards told them to disperse, shooing them away by waving their caps. The people interpreted the waving of hats as encouragement to continue the attack. And so it went, with periodic gunplay interrupting de Launay’s attempts to surrender.

Soon, the mob was firing cannonballs at the prison, hacking at the drawbridge and scaling the courtyard walls.

Facing tens of thousands of these lunatics, de Launay made a final offer: He would cede total control of the Bastille, provided only that the transfer be accomplished peacefully. Unless his demand for a bloodless transition was met, he said, he would blow up the entire city block. Which, it turns out, he should have.

De Launay’s offer was refused. He surrendered anyway.

— Hello, police precincts in Minneapolis and Seattle!

The mob poured in and ransacked the entire fortress, throwing papers from the windows, killing guards and taking others prisoner. One captured guard later described being marched through the street with “masses of people shouting at me and cursing me.”

— At least we haven’t seen any masses of people shouting and cursing at law enforcement officers.

Much worse was in store for de Launay. The Bastille commander was triumphantly paraded through the streets, where the people cut him with swords and bayonets until he was finally hacked to death, whereupon the charming Parisians continued to mutilate his dead body. A cook was given the honor of cutting off de Launay’s head, getting down on his hands and knees in the gutter and sawing it off with a pocketknife.

De Launay’s head, along with that of another city official, were stuck on pikes and waltzed through the streets of Paris for more celebratory jeering.

— News this week: White Indianapolis woman’s Facebook page flooded with mocking messages from BLM supporters after she was murdered for saying “All Lives Matter.”

— Also this week, Savannah Chavez’s tribute to her fallen police officer father, killed in an ambush on Saturday, was bombarded with sneering tweets from BLM supporters.

In reaction to the storming of the Bastille, Alexander Hamilton politely warned the Marquis de Lafayette, hero of the American Revolution: “I dread the vehement character of your people whom I fear you may find it more easy to bring on, than to keep within Proper bounds, after you have put them in motion.”

Lafayette didn’t listen. Three years later, he was fleeing France for his life. I hope the Democrats have a better plan.

What actually IS “systemic” racism?

Nobody ever defines it. It’s taken as self-evident. Either you get it, or you don’t. And you had BETTER “get it” … or else!

I have a definition of actual racism. I define racism as the error of elevating a person’s skin color and/or genetic background to the level of character and choice. It’s wrong, but it’s also an error. We don’t choose our race. Race, as such, has no moral status. You’re neither morally superior nor morally inferior for being white, black, Hispanic, Asian or any other race. If you state or imply otherwise, you’re usually guilty of the error of racism.

People who accuse others of “systemic racism” should be required to define their terms — objectively, and concretely. Yet they never do. That’s because their definition is EMOTIONAL. They’re basically saying, “I feel that you’re racist. Therefore, you are.” Usually, they mean to say: “If you’re white, you don’t get it. It’s not in your DNA or programming to get it. You’re racist, whether you think so or not. The more you challenge me on this, the more racist you’re proving yourself to be. So SUBMIT, say you’re sorry … and you still won’t be forgiven. But you’ll be humbled. And that’s all I care about.”

When somebody accuses America of being “systemically racist”, this is literally what I hear. I am a psychotherapist by profession. I have developed a trained ear for emotional manipulation by the foisting of unearned guilt on others. That’s why I pay it no mind. It’s not because I’m racist. Racism is a profoundly ignorant error. I want no part of racism, and never have. But “systemic racist” is a term that means nothing whatsoever to me. I see it as emotional and psychological manipulation. The motives of the people who make the accusation vary. Clearly, the motives of looters, terrorists and thugs who want police removed as a function of government cannot be good motives. Murder rates are skyrocketing in cities in direct proportion to the degree we defund police (financially) and condemn them (morally). Do we see these advocates of fighting “systemic racism” as reversing course? No. They want the anarchy and mayhem to continue — most of it against racial minorities, as we’re seeing right now in Atlanta, with the death of an 8-year-old child!

Talk about a raw deal. All the accusations of “systemic racism” seem like a GREAT deal for those who wish civilization as we know it to collapse, rather than always improving and expanding, as we once were. So what’s in all this for the rest of us?

Ryan McMaken writes the very sad but unanswerable truth:

If a future “emergency” requires that some other group of people — say, people who refuse “stay-at-home” orders or federally mandated vaccination be rounded up and incarcerated en masse, do not doubt this will be regarded as perfectly constitutional. If it is decided that federal agents be empowered to confiscate privately-held guns, there is no doubt a “public health crisis” or “emergency” will be cited to ensure this is deemed constitutional, too.

At this point, who would be naïve enough to think the federal government would limit itself from any “necessary” act just because it is unconstitutional?

We’re likely to see something similar with the First Amendment also. It appears to be only a matter of time until an alliance of Washington politicians and Supreme Court justices determine that speech opposing, say, gay marriage is “hate speech” and punishable by fines and incarceration.

And then, of course, there are the countless federal laws that control every aspect of everyday life from what one can buy or sell, whom one can hire, and with whom one may do business.

Are these powers listed under the “enumerated” powers of the constitution? Do they violate the Bill of Rights? Virtually no one cares. Which means it doesn’t matter. It’s constitutional if the politicians (which, of course, includes the lawyers in robes we call “judges”) say so …

… So long as the public tolerates it, it will be done. Words on parchment are useless in opposing this. The beliefs of the people who wrote the Bill of Rights — that is, a group of laissez-faire liberals from the late eighteenth century — mean nothing if the public doesn’t agree with them. And virtually no American today agrees with the anti-federalists of old that the federal government must be kept limited, weakened, and confined to a small number of tasks. If no one agrees with the philosophy behind the Bill of Rights, few will care if its provisions are violated.

Bottom line: If most Americans don’t care, then of what use is the Bill of Rights?

Joe Biden promises to keep Dr. Fauci on his perch if elected President. Of course he will. Dr. Fauci is a political animal. So is Joe Biden. That’s how Joe Biden and his worthless son made millions off the American taxpayer, the Chinese Communist government, the Ukraine and who-knows-what-else.

The most disturbing thing about Dr. Fauci is what he does to manipulate the American people. He hides behind science and medicine — things which, at their best, people are right to respect and honor. He exploits this respect and honor by playing with people’s emotions. When Dr. Fauci decides you need to be more afraid, as is the case now, he talks about tens of thousands of people who will die over the next few weeks. “Get frightened now!” he screams. He did this back in April, and now he’s doing it again. In April, Americans were facing a new Pearl Harbor, according to President Trump, who listened to Dr. Fauci at that time. It never materialized, as we know. The actions of politicians have been far more devastating than the virus has yet to become.

At other times, when Dr. Fauci thinks the economy is more of a concern, he talks about the need to reopen schools and businesses. It doesn’t seem to trouble him that from one day to the next he says completely opposite things. If this isn’t a major red flag to you, then you’re overly trusting and gullible. Work on that!

Dr. Fauci appears to assume that most Americans are like tiny children, incapable of comprehending anything beyond the range of the immediate moment. He calls it science, which is kind of like an adult reassuring a child, “There, there, you can trust everything I say, because I would never hurt you.” While many parents and adults are truly benevolent and some are often right, adults are often wrong, as all children eventually discover. And there’s nothing benevolent about Dr. Fauci. He’s (at best) a manipulating crank, a career bureaucrat-turned-politician with a medical degree that did NOT train him to rule the entire planet. If you’re still listening to him, then YOU are part of the problem.

We do not have a police problem. We have a GOVERNMENT problem. Police enforce the law. If you think the police are too heavy-handed, it’s the politicians who made them that way. Cities like New York, Los Angeles and Minneapolis are 100 percent controlled by leftists. Leftists seek unlimited laws and unlimited government power. If you doubt me, look at the permanent lockdowns. If you want less intrusive police, FIRST you must get rid of intrusive government. That means doing the things no leftist desires: limiting the role of government to protection of individual rights to life, liberty and property. That’s all. We DO need police for that. And if that’s ALL the police were required to do, the police would not be a problem. Instead, we demand the police control people’s drug use, force them to wear masks when there’s a bad flu going around, confiscate their guns even when they’re peaceful, on and on and on.

Police are not the problem. GOVERNMENT is. Governments run by leftists are the biggest problem of all. And if you think leftists have no plans to replace the police they’re defunding with agents of coercion and control far, far worse than anything America has ever seen … then you are too gullible for words.
